A great place to meet your friends to go shopping for the day is at the Downtown Jacksonville Central Park Plaza.  Start off with some coffee at Due Gatti Coffee House,  then you could get a picture taken by an area photographer, Go on down to get a frame from On The Wall then go to Prairie Wind Engraving to have it engraved.  Stroll over to check out the bargains at the Lighthouse Thrift Store or Scotts Pawn Shop and take all the money you saved and find some nice jewelry from Denny or Edwards Jewelers, or put it in the bank for a rainy day.  Maybe get some lunch before browsing thru Cover to Cover Used Books and Saint John Fisher Catholic Bookstore for a good book.   Get a relaxing tan at Connies Gifts and Tanning, or head over to the Racing Outlet for some shirts of your favorite Nascar drivers.  There's lots more to do in downtown Jacksonville Illinois!
